The Mound.

Yay Andy Murray!!!! Woooohooooo :D Am very pleased for him and his Olympic Gold, especially after the disappointment at Wimbledon a few weeks ago. 'Tis brilliant and that makes 16 Golds so far for team GB - something I'd never have guessed I'd be remotely interested in!

So the Rings seemed an appropriate blip today, especially as Maggie, Mary and I were queueing on the Mound here waiting to get into the Assembly. We went to see Adam Hills who was, as always, very funny indeed. This show was much more about audience participation though and there was a heart stopping moment when he came right up to where we were sitting, I was avoiding eye contact at all costs and silently praying "Please don't speak to the girl with the bright red hair, please don't speak to the girl with the bright red hair." I may look like an extrovert but I, most resolutely, am not and couldn't imagine much worse than being singled out by a funny man with a microphone. Thankfully something else caught his attention and I was saved from extreme embarassment by some other fool ;)
