Market Day

Friday morning is market day in Alpe d'Huez. What a fantastic market it is too! In the tradition of all great French markets there is something for everyone. The food stalls are magnificent and made me wish we were self-catering. I chose the most French image from our visit that I could find - garlic! It was a tough one though...the cheese, sausage and fruit stalls were a delight, not to mention the stand cooking up French cuisine in massive pans. Shame it was so soon after breakfast!!
