See the Seagull - and Setúbal

Suddenly got invited by Portuguese colleagues to go to the beach with them for the afternoon - would never have occurred to us to go just for the afternoon. But it was great, and the water was warm enough to not only go in, but stay in for a long time, and an absolutely clear aqua colour - just wonderful.

We were able to introduce them to the stilt jetties at Carrasqueira, which we'd not seen at low tide before - quite different seeing them in the mud instead of water.

Back just in time for the group at their house, and then a long chat with Dutch colleagues over a beer, and now - almost 1am, I might get to wash the sand off...
