Thank You x

Thank you so much for the support you have given me through  my previous two blips - I am most touched and Friend is quite overwhelmed at her "celebrity status"! But is tickled pink by it even though reading what I had written made her blub, so of course I joined her!  But we are at a good and easy blubbing stage now and in a strange sort of way it is at the moment both reinforcing our  friendship  and healing. It is so good she can get out and about and do things with her daughters and friends, and that she has decided to say no to further radiotherapy. It is hard but she is holding her daughters and we are holding her. 
So a day of rest for her and a day on the allotment for me. It was just the right temperature today, soft clouds, sunshine and a little breeze. Damn but those beans are going bonkers! Some for me, some for my fellow allotmenteer, some for Friend and some for the chickens - all happy! I had a good chat as always with my fellow allotmenteer and he shared his bag of crisps and kitkat with me! It's just so pleasurable on the allotment at the moment, gentle weeding, picking of crops and inspection of plants. The bees are having a field day, one rather large bumblebee even landed on the sweetpeas I was holding - made me squeal and my fellow allotmenteer to  wonder what on earth I was up to! I was delighted to see that the huge squashes heeded my warning that I would eat the male flowers if no females were forthcoming and I now have baby squashes! Plus my sweetcorn are showing signs of making babies! It's my very happy place at the moment!
