South Coast Scribblings

(Back blip). We went over to see my Dad today. Had the most horrendous journey - took us three times as long as usual to get there (normally only 30 mins) due to really heavy traffic, huge queues along the Bognor road up to the A27 and then along the A27 itself. The roads in this part of the country are totally inadequate for the amount of traffic and nothing is ever done about it!!! Rant over

Anyway we got to Dad's just about in time to go and get fish and chips for lunch and we had a nice time with him. Stuart did some gardening once there was a bit of shade as it was a very hot, sunny day.

I had made a last minute booking to go and see "Half a Sixpence" at the Chichester Festival Theatre in the evening - hence the photo. Stuart was holding my drink - not imbibing two himself! It was a great show and when we left about 10.30 it was still 24 degrees according to the car's temperature gauge - and it felt like it too!
