Last day......

...for BHS in our high street and sadly the end of an era. There was very little left inside the store but the queue was long so some people found that irresistible bargain. 

Whilst in town, I had the privilege to be taken by a friend to see an old haunt from my college days! See my extra. The college itself is now the Civic Centre but the Bishop of Rochester's Palace, which dates back from 12th century to 1845, is used for functions and looks exactly the same...of course. I did my final year fashion show on these lawns many years ago....
