Keepsakes

My daughter Emma, who just moved out of home, has left a few keepsakes here for safe keeping, including a piece of her artwork, painted at high school back in 2007, when Emma was only 14 years old.

I love the colours in this painting. It is so bright and cheerful, just like Emma. :)

I'm still getting used to being the only girl left in the house. I do believe it was easier when my elder daughter left home. At least I still had Emma here, for some female company!
