Speed

It was our early start day, so we were up at 6 in order to get to our starts at 8:30. Sadly it was a damp morning and I sheltered in the lee of a pole waiting to start. Even more annoying was that the rain stopped before I had finished and later starters had good weather and helpful tracks. As we had loads of time I decided to experiment with blurring runners on the run in. People move really quickly, so I had a number of attempts at different shutter speeds before I got something I liked.
