Jolly hockey sticks....

So much for last nights red sky, this morning was a dull and damp start. Took advantage and brought some cows and calves in to tag the calves.
A neighbour in to collect another trailer load of bruised barley I am selling and by the time he was loaded it was lunch time.
Had to  take Littlemiss to meet  Mrs F after she finished work to get some of her school uniform from Aitken and Niven. Everything costs a fortune ! I had a lesson on all the pros and cons of the various makes of hockey sticks from Littkemiss.
Called in to a friend on the way home who breeds pigs. Managed to sell him a load of feed barley while I was there. So that will be another job for later in the week.
Back home then off to feed the cattle down the road. Discovered they had smashed a gate and been out so had to shift them to another field, nearly getting the Landrover stuck in the process . It now looks like I have been round a rally circuit by all the mud over the windows and cab !
