Love his face.....

....he looks so calm!  He's not!  This is Alfie who belongs to our friends J & R (used to be our lovely neighbours but moved, damn them!).  I went down to see R this afternoon as she had tripped down some steps and given her ankle a nasty sprain.  As her job involves her being on her feet all day (she is in a Nuffield operating theatre) much rest is involved to get better.

Then, a lovely surprise when my excellent and mad friend B called in and had some supper with us.  So very good to see her and catch up.  However, sorry to say that there will be no comments this evening.  I'll have a good look tomorrow.........
