Rooster

This was the brightest thing I saw in a walk around Deerness due to the fog that put paid to landscape shots. I was looking for migrant birds that may have been pushed eastward by the winds. Not much luck- a couple of willow warblers and a robin. At one point, though, I was crossing some moorland and saw a raven on a fence. I thought it might be keeping an eye on a raptor and, when I cleared a small rise, had a very nice view of a male hen harrier on the fence.
