Hibiscus

We went to the pub/restaurant/hotel in our village today for lunch as it was Jan's birthday. She's the friend I walk with, Millie spaniel's mum, so ten of us went, including one of her sons and her daughter in law.
I had a prawn salad with citrus dressing, followed by filets of mackerel with a leek, mange tout and mushroom sauce and a cafe gourmand. I did mean to take a photo either of all of us or the food, but totally forgot, so here you have the flower of the hibiscus plant which another friend gave to Jan for her birthday!
