The Queen Mums

Felt strange going to Yorkhill with my son which is now home to an orthopaedic unit where he had his leg x-rayed and a new plaster cast fitted.

I parked in front of what was the Queen Mother Maternity Hospital where 16 years ago my son was born. It's deserted now - and apparently not in great condition.

I'll be back here a few more times over the coming weeks as the consultants want to check that broken leg is healing properly.
