As other Blippers have commented, life seems a bit strange at the moment without the Olympics. So proud of all those winners returning to UK today. The knock-on effect is already happening . . . this is a new sign in the area I found it. Now all I need is to tell my legs that message . . . hehe . . .
Sporty Bit . . . some Blippers will also remember this . . . tis 30 years ago today that Boro started a new season against Port Vale, running out at the Victoria Ground, Hartlepool. Boro were in administration at the time and the gates of Ayresome Park were locked. Thankfully one man - Steve Gibson - came to the rescue and - again thankfully - he remains Chairman to this day in one of the most successful periods in the history of Boro. Phew !
