Perched

Perched for a better view of his domain over the water!

A bit of strenuous gardening this morning fighting the brambles which meant I couldn't hold the lens properly for any in-flight shots so thankfully this beautiful dragon posed nicely on a bit of bent reed. A couple of shots later and he was zipping up and down the canal hunting whilst marking  territory giving the darters a bit of hassle as he went!
