Dave Does a Dive

Travelling along the towpath we heard plaintiff cries for help from a woman on a narrowboat. Help! He's in the river and can't get out!

And sure enough, a few yards further on was a pair of hands grasping onto the grassy bank with Dave in the water an arm's length below.

So we took an arm each and hauled him out. He was soaked and had lost his glasses, but was prepared to pose for today's Blip.

I think he had got inspired by the Olympic divers.
