A Happy Hollyhock...................

.............................Saw this beautifully coloured Hollyhock in a local garden. Botanical name Alcea (malvaceae). I wish I could grow them but they are prone to a disease called Rust and mine always seem to get it! Have tried the doubles and the singles - doesn't seem to make any difference. I think I prefer the singles in their simplicity. Shall just have to enjoy other peoples!!
