The Tweed

This river often features in our walks and today's route was from Walkerburn to Innerleithen over the hills and back along the Tweed. I was doing a recce with L as I will be leading it in two weeks' time. The recce extremely useful as I discovered that the walk was about two miles longer than advertised, and part of it (luckily an optional extension) was being rendered virtually impassable due to a mountain bike race which was creating a mud bath out of the track. This shot is near the end of the walk, when the sun decided to come out at last - the scenery does look so much better with a bit of sun on it!
