Tired Teefer

Poor Teefer has got an itch! We were all treated last week with a spot-on flea killer but it doesn't kill berry bugs, or harvest mites as they are also known. Teefer seems to get these every year, they congregate just below her right ear and, having no back leg on that side, she can't scratch them off. I shouldn't really laugh but she spends ages moving her stump as if she is scratching her ear but it just doesn't work.

She got treated tonight with a special spray stuff from the vet so now she's not talking to anybody. The good news is that the first frost will kill off the little critters but I'm glad they're not on me, lots of love, JJ, xx.
