Winter Rose/Hellebore

For some weeks now, I have been checking daily to see if these beauties have 'hatched'.

Now, all of a sudden, they are in bloom everywhere. I have these pinky ones, some white ones and some beautiful deep purply/burgundy ones.

They truly are a wonderful thing to behold.

So, I picked one!

And here it is for your enjoyment too.

Excuse my dry, wintery hands. I moisturise every day, but you wouldn't know it to look at those horrible mitts!

I'm tired this evening. My bed is still squeaky and wakes me up most nights. I really must get onto buying a new one.

Tired, but happy.
