Hoover Dam

Today's shot is a tourist shot.  We spent the morning at the Hoover Dam and this was taken from the pedestrian walkway on Highway 93 Hoover Dam bypass, on the Arizona side of the dam.  The extra shows the opposite view and the bridge that this was taken from. It is quite an amazing to behold.  Be sure to have a look in large. 

While we were there, we got the call from the realtor that #4 son's offer on the house was accepted.  We didn't stay to take the Dam tour or go to the visitors center since we know that we will both take our significant others back there to do that and we were very excited to go back and have another look at the new house and explore the neighborhood.  It is a lovely home in the foothills of Red Rock Canyon, with a pool and incredible view of the mountains and the Las Vegas Strip, which is amazing at night.  It will certainly be fun to come and visit here.
