Colorful Critter

No time for photos today as I was glued to the final day of the Olympics. From the ridiculously early bronze medal men's volleyball match (well done U.S.A.) to the amazing closing ceremonies, this was the last day of non-stop television viewing. Sorry to see the Olympics end, but perhaps now I will be able to get back to a normal life, until we take off on vacation in ten days time that is.

The colorful closing ceremonies inspired me to search the house for something similar. We picked this little guy up on one of trips inland. He is pretty colorful on his own, but the shelf on which my wife has him displayed increases that even more, making it a perfect representation of Mexico.
