The moors weren't looking their best in bad weather. This is near the Cat and Fiddle Inn, the second highest pub in England. It's shut and for sale at the moment.
We were on our way to a Strauss concert at the Buxton Opera house. It was the Liverpool Philharmonic and the presenter was John Suchet. He was very entertaining and the orchestra was excellent.
