Looe

We are down in Plymouth this weekend. A strange place. It should be impressive and could be impressive but I guess it just needs investment. Dowdy and run down - not much different from so many coastal ports and towns around the country that have equally illustrious pasts.

A bit depressing really. But we still had a nice run around Plymouth Hoe in the morning.

Maybe the the sudden change in the weather didn't help.

Anyway, we decided to drive out to Looe in the afternoon. Seeking somewhere nicer to wander around.

It was one of those grey days where holiday families are desperately looking around for an alternative to keep the kids entertained as the beach is just not an option. And there were lots of them in Looe.

Not something we needed to worry about though and we had a pleasant wander and enjoyed some nice views once we escaped the crowds in the town.
