Le Mans

Last year we got very wet in Le Mans, today the clouds threatened but thankfully didn't deliver. We went on the Le Petit Train, paid for our tickets and then were very nicely kicked off as it only had two languages and there were more French and Spanish than us four English. So we said we'd come back for the next train and headed off to St. Julien's Cathedral, where Geoffrey Plantagenet (Father of Henry II of England) is buried. We also had a quick wander round the old town before heading back for the train.

The train was informative and fun. The kids enjoyed it and C has remembered quite a lot for her homework. After the train we eventually had some lunch and the C spent some of her holiday spends in Lush, which she had spotted whilst on the train! Obviously we then had to visit a Decathlon, where the children spent more of their holiday money on running tops and in W's case a tennis rebounder so he can play in the garden on his own (fingers crossed it works).

We got back home in time to see the Brownlees go gold and silver in the Triathlon and then headed to the pool.
