Hebden Bridge - Steampunk

The weather was awful again this morning. I eventually forced myself to do some gardening late morning before being rained off at lunchtime.

There was so much going off this August weekend (Brighouse Canal Festival, Mirfield Show). I couldn't face an afternoon of olympic taekwando on tv,  so we made a late decision to drive over to Hebden Bridge to see what was happening at the Steampunk Weekend.

The streets were buzzing with people dressed in Victorian industrial fashion with hats, brass goggles, medals and leather boots being the de rigeur attire.

I almost posted a  blipsnap with Corinthium Column who was also there this afternoon (see extra).
