Sunset on Coombestone Tor
I had no excuse. It was a perfect evening. I arrived on the Tor a full hour before sunset. But like everything else, it needs practice. Or a tutor. I took a number of pictures, never quite sure how to deal with the contrast in light, or how much to zoom. Then my battery went and I packed the camera away, satisfied that I could do no more as the sun went into a little low cloud. A big mistake. It emerged and grew in size and turned a magnificent deep orange red as it sunk into the horizon. At least I was able to enjoy it.
