Tenby adventure.
A mixed weather forecast meant we decided to spend the day - with waterproofs to the ready - in Tenby. The local train sped us into the town, where we enjoyed ice-creams and drinks at our favourite beach-side cafe, listening to the sounds of the waves (though we were glad of the snuggle blankets for extra warmth - see extra). By the time we had finished our drinks the rain had started in earnest, and never really stopped.
Luckily our plans had allowed for this as we were visiting the island fort of St Catherine's, a small island just off the Castle beach in Tenby, only accessible at low tide, and which until very recently has been closed to the public. (We later found out it will close again for good next Saturday). The main photo shows Harry just outside the main fort, with Tenby as the backdrop. A visit to the Tenby lifeboat station, followed by lunch in one of the many little cafes, some holiday shopping and the train ride back home completed a fun and varied day.
