Car Park
This is why I love Devon!
Woke up and it was sunny... My mum came in and suggested I drive to town and go for a run along the river. For once, her suggesting I do some exercise wasn't taken as an insult but a jolly good idea.
I had a lovely run and then went to do the shopping. I love walking around English supermarkets, the choice is so exciting compared to those in Hungary.
On the way home it started to rain and that continued all afternoon. I read the Sunday paper, tried the puzzles, spoke to dad, got really cold and changed the bed sheets. I was starting to go crazy so decided to pull myself together and go for a surf. As I got closer to the coast the clouds cleared and the sun was out.
The surf wasn't great but gave me the time to work on my paddling (my weakest point). I promise to work on my upper body strength while I'm away. As always Woolacombe was beautiful and I could have just sat on my board looking around for hours. I love it!!
I got home and had 10 minutes until the 100m men's final. I had a quick shower while my mum got my dinner ready and put my pyjamas outside the bathroom door. Our team work meant that we were all sitting down comfortably, ready for an exciting 9.63 seconds. Well done Bolt. Even the cats were both in the sitting room ready for it! Although they were both asleep.
It feels good to blip on the day... I have so many backblips to do.
Hilarious things mum said today.
"The one of you I ever worried about becoming a drug addict was R but he grew out of it by the time he was 15!"
We had cheesecake for pudding as a special treat. Mum and dad both had 2 slices and amazingly mum gave me 2 slices too. She did say that Ididn't have to eat them both tonight though. I pointed out that there is a little fairy in our house who eats all the good stuff. She agreed and said that I'd better eat it tonight! She's the fairy.
