The Botanics

A last attempt at a photo for this week's challenge 'FLOWERS', so I went to the Botanics in Edinburgh. Many of the flowers are past their best, but this shrub near the glasshouses was in bloom (it's been so long since I have been to the Botanics that I didn't realise that there is now a £5.50 charge to get into the glasshouses!). It's a colourful and varied bush, with buds that look like popping candy. The extra is another shot of a bush that has slightly different flowers.
