The Banksia Nut Candlestick.

    I have now made the base for the candlestick as in the shot above and I have also put the candle holder in the top having blind drilled the hole for it.
The depth of that is approx: 2cm.
   
    It does look a wee bit scruffy, but I will polish it when the glue has dried out completely, securing the candlestick in it.
   
    The extra is with a candle in the stick, lit to give you the full effect. Not a very good shot of that, but it gives you an idea of what it is like.
I must now make another one to make up the pair.

And after that,......... the next project.
