Yesterday we did some basic maintenance work on the bikes. This afternoon, following a stressful morning, we cycled to the walled garden after lunch. Both bikes performed beautifully. We should have done that work ages ago.

The walled garden was quiet and peaceful. The lemon sponge cake was delicious.
