Why do we?

I rushed from a funeral in Ballboughal in North Co Dublin to Howth to be in time for a dinner. I waited on the pier for nearly two hours for the appearance of five Canadians being brought there by a friend in his car. Well seemingly when he got there he forgot to call me and returned to Clontarf to his favourite restaurant ( where he gets a discount).... He's off my Christmas card list..... On the positive side Fluffikens made me a lovely sandwich on my way home to compensate for the meal I never got to eat..... We live and learn... Just saying
