#300, I think!
My goal was to reach 365 uninterrupted blips, but unfortunately I missed one. I took the photo and thought I had downloaded it to my computer, but discovered after I deleted the files from the memory card, that I apparently hadn't downloaded the blips from that day. Oh rats! C'est la vie, I guess. Hopefully, I won't miss any in the next 65 days.
Aside from that little glitch, Blipfoto has been a smooth ride and a lot of fun. As it says in my profile, I got into blipping for three reasons:
~for my own enjoyment
~for the challenge
~to help me grow as a photographer.
These are my goals, and I'm working on them, but the thing that keeps me blipping is the very special people who make up this community: those who created it and those who participate.
Blipfoto is wonderfully conceived, wonderfully designed, wonderfully moderated, and...the bottom line...full of wonderful people. You Blippers are a gifted bunch. Some of you are gifted photographers, some are gifted writers, and some are both. Some are gifted with a wonderful sense of humor, and others with rare insight and sensitivity. But the gifts that you all have and share so freely with each other are the gifts of being positive, supportive, encouraging, and caring. Thanks for being that way. You are the wonder of Blip!
