The 'Helenas' meet again
We had a bit of time after breakfast to discuss some photographic topics, ranging from cameras and software, portraits and printing. We even had a few minutes in the garden with H.’s three dogs before we had to say goodbyes. Hopefully it won’t be another thirty years before the ‘Helenas’ meet again.
We headed off to explore a small bit of the Trossachs, a local range of hills and lakes in central southern Scotland. We went to Loch Katrine but it was very busy and quite touristy, so we drove on fairly swiftly towards our destination on the west coast near Oban. For Helena it is going 'home', but for me it is a doorway to another family as well as a wonderfully rich landscape of wilderness and wildlife.
