Strathardle

A few months ago one of my running groups decided to go for a walk instead of a run. Then not many could come so we decided to go with the local Ramblers group (1 friend is a member) but when it came to it only Pat and I went.
It was a rather grey day, though with a few patches of sun, and a light breeze and the cloud gradually lifted. The first part of the walk was mainly in commercial forest but we came out to a lochan and then across open country where we stopped for lunch with this view back across where we'd started.
A stop on the way back in Blairgowrie for very good value tea and scone.
Mr Rat went to parkrun and then for a walk nearer home
