Tongue Out

Another upset at the AOG today this morning as Gregory Greenfinch, the youngster of the team, was blatantly caught on camera sticking his tongue out at a fellow competitor. This shockingly unsportsmanlike behaviour resulted in a rumour for a nail-biting few minutes that the whole of TG (Team Greenfinch)  was going to be disqualified. The Judges tho'  overruled  TGT’s (Team Great Tit) objections and decided a tap on the beak and a large fine would suffice and he was allowed to carry on. We can only imagine what his mother, in a flap, watching the whole sorry affair on a large screen from the stands, was thinking! 


Gregory I have to say did his utmost to redeem himself and was the outright winner in the 'Peel a Peanut' competition later in the day and did brilliantly. Lots of scope for the future here.
