Butterflies and rain...

A catching up Saturday, with domestic duties and shopping on the list. But it also brought a surprise treat when a former colleague I've not seen for a looooong time made an unexpected appearance in our usual Saturday morning coffee spot. It was so lovely to see him after such a long time - though social media does make you feel you're still in touch!

Then a wee wander to the Book Festival just as the torrential rain started. This is the wonderful book sculpture in the entrance of a tree covered in butterflies.
