Giant Thistles

I do not know what these type thistles  

are , they looked so gorgeous, have made them my blip today, it was very windy so not  sharp picture.  well at least I have the wind to blame todayhaha.  We had a pleasant lunch and got some goodies from the farm shop/cafe.
