Victorias

Victoria plums are quite the best, and we have a little Victoria plum tree in our garden. They are just ripening now and it is a rush to pick them before the wasps start on them Some years we have had enough to make jam but this year we will be eating them warm from the tree.
 
At last we have had some useful rain and everything looks fresh. Fresh too is the wind that is blowing over the flower pots, particularly some tall geraniums. 

The Olympics are nearly over. I never imagined I would enjoy them so much.
