Burgundian beauty

I think Burgundy is like the bit in the Narnia stories after they have died and go to the Narnia which is like Narnia, but better! It's like England, but sunnier, with bigger hills and better food.
We made an early start and said goodbye to Jorge's parents, who had a long trip back to Madrid. Those of us who were going to Lille had a visit to a pretty town called Toucy, with one of those fabulous French market that spreads through several streets and sells everything from small farm machinery to geese.
We declined the geese and just bought a picnic.
