Hibiscus

Real autumn weather now - the garden is being battered and buffeted by the gales, the flowers in tatters, the leaves on the trees and shrubs turning black.  Luckily there are lots of flowers still safe and sound indoors!

Went to see the display of floral art in the cathedral this morning.  This year's theme is Children's Books, and the arrangement by John Rae's tomb was looking particularly splendid. Also lovely The Secret Garden, incorporating the side door -  see extras.  More about John Rae here.
