A new, bright perspective

The current home has been a work in progress for years. There were a series of repairs that interfered with other home decoration plans. We adjusted. We changed the entire color scheme of the home and have watched the landscaping grow in. Yesterday the new door was finally installed.

Having more than one project going in a home can be frustrating, though it needs to get done. It's no secret that it was a source of arguments like in many households. Dave can live through many projects, while I prefer a finished environment. The England home was smaller, but finished and left me free to travel and explore the world. And study. Yesterday the spindles on the stairwall were replaced and mudroom renovations began. It's nice to have these smaller projects out of the way.

Now, if I can apply the same methodology to new college courses and the triathlon schedule. My plan for these is already in the works and on target.

It's been a busy week with a trip to the zoo, Cranbrook science museum & planetarium, and Nick's race yesterday. There have been many friends in and it's been a busy summer. We've enjoyed it and had fanstatic moments. And now, we can enjoy a brighter foyer. A good day.
