Naked clematis

It has poured with rain today but later in the afternoon the sun came out.

The clematis by the back door is still putting on a display.

While it rained I watched the weather from indoors and smiled as I watched the robin eating from the hanging bird table. It has a squirrel baffle above it so he was protected from the rain.

I'd ordered some new wooden knitting needles. They are nicer to knit with them the metal ones. They had been wrapped really well but the postman tried to put them through the letterbox and snapped one of them. There is a replacement on its way
