To the King's Theatre this evening to see the much lauded production of the Glass Menagerie. I found the first half a bit ponderous, but the second half was much more dynamic after the introduction of the fourth character.
It was followed by a crappy taxi driver who took us the long way round coming home and didn't like being challenged on it.
And now for more or less the first time ever we can hear music coming from the venue (The Biscuit Factory) across the road. That will have the nimbies in the development up in arms. I suspect it won't bother us in the bedroom.
John Byrne's mural is stunning. Not sure I've been in the King's Theatre since it was unveiled.
