Mrs G has had a proper sewing machine for some years now and never learnt how to use it. So she booked some lessons to finally get to grips with the thing.

Then today takes it out of the box and discovers that it had a callback notice recently. And by recently I mean fifteen years ago... pretty much when she had the thing.

So... one phonecall later to the manufacturer and they say don't worry we'll send someone round to pick it up and sort the issue... and literally within 2 hours they did!! How amazing is that? After 15 years! And no money either.

Things don't usually work out as well as that generally... like my plan to take a picture of her using the machine. Which obviously isn't here right now.

So here's a bit of fabric that she put out ready for using on the absent machine. Another photo sewn up. (Apologies...)
