Moon Setting on Canyon Gate Stadium

We did not get to see the moon last night due to clouds and sprinkling. This morning when I went out to get the paper, it was just peering around some clouds, but I still didn't get to see it in it's full glory.

I was pleased to look back on the first hole to see this wonderful sight! I was so big and I had my camera! Well worth the wait.

There wasn't much activity at Canyon Gate Stadium this morning. The captain of the cormorant team was trying to roust the ducks from their deep sleep, but they were having nothing of that. (extra photo)

While that was going on, the rest of Team Cormorant were fighting for space on the palm fronds. There was quite a commotion going on and this reporter was surprised that the ducks could sleep through it. Now that the events are over for the cormorants, it appears they have too much time on their hands and are getting into trouble. What is it about athletes that compete in the water?

Only two days left......what will we do after the games are over?

I am grateful that patience and preparedness paid off this morning.
