Life goes on...

My dear friend was cremated today at Porchester Crematorium.
I took this photo through my car windscreen, in the pouring rain, after the 'moving' service. I was going to look around the gardens as blipper PAR1 had told me how beautiful they were, but it was such awful weather and I felt so sad.  This area seemed to enhanced by many fine, mature trees, as you can see.
The crematorium opened in 1958 and initially had 400 cremations annually, now it has risen to 4,000 and averages 17 services a day!
