Happy Runners

Tonight was the annual running of the clubs 'Handicap' race.
The race is a 5k route, with everyone having a handicap start depending on their average 5k times this year.
The earliest runner went off at 6:53pm, the last runner at 7:09pm.
The theory was that we should all have finished at 7:30pm.
(For example my average 5k time is 24 minutes, so I set off at 7:06 to hopefully finish at 7:30)
In fact we all finished within 3 minutes either side of this - so well organised.
A variety of silly prizes were given out, with the winner getting an England Olympic plastic duck!!
Afterwards we all went down Weatherspoons for Curry night to ruin all the good work we had done running!
