Mr D's First Wood Carving

Mr D has been doing a wood carving course at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop (link at the bottom) and tonight there was an exhibition of his and lots of other students work.

I had been privy to the odd mobile phone picture of the work in progress but tonight I saw it in all its finished glory - isn't it great? I wish I could have put up all the pictures I took, of the various wood, stone, metal and glass sculptures as they were all wonderful. I met some of the people that created them and a very nice bunch they were too!

Now I have a nice glass of white wine to sip. Aaaah...it's Friday.
